Kolkata: The speculations that were being made about the India alliance in West Bengal have proved to be true. The state’s ruling party TMC will contest alone in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. During a public meeting today, the party has announced the names of its candidates for 42 seats. The party has canceled the tickets of four sitting MPs. Former cricketer Yusuf Pathan has been given a chance against Congress state president Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary.

After the distribution of TMC tickets, Adhir Ranjan Choudhary has launched a scathing attack on Mamata Banerjee. Adhir Ranjan said that Mamata Banerjee herself was known as the spokesperson of the India Alliance. Today he proved that it would be better if any political party in India does not trust a leader like Mamata. Mamta Banerjee’s words have no meaning and no importance. There is cowardice and cunningness in Mamta’s thinking. It’s better not to trust them.
Mamta sent a message to BJP- Adhir Ranjan
Adhir Ranjan said that Mamata fears that if India joins the alliance, she will have to fight with Modi. If this happens then Modi ji will send ED/CBI to their doorstep. If this happens then the threat to TMC party may increase. They feel that to avoid angering the PM, they should separate themselves from the alliance. By separating from the alliance, a message has been sent that I am not in the alliance, do not be angry with me and I am not fighting against BJP.
Congress leader also spoke on Yusuf Pathan
On fielding Yusuf Pathan against him, the Congress leader said that this is his freedom. He said that TMC people are saying that in this way they are honoring Yusuf Pathan. If he had wanted to respect Yusuf, he would have given him a ticket in the Rajya Sabha elections held a few days ago. In Bengal, people from outside have been made MP of Rajya Sabha, so Yusuf Pathan could also have been made. He said that if Mamata had thought anything good about Yusuf Pathan, she would have at least demanded a seat from the alliance in Gujarat.
