Let us tell you that these days Rahul Gandhi is traveling in the north-eastern state as part of ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’. When news agency ANI asked Himanta about his reaction to Rahul Gandhi’s comments attacking him, Sharma was quoted by ANI as saying, “Why are you talking about Ravana today?”

“One should not talk about Ravana”

CM Himanta further said, “At least talk about Ram today. We have got the opportunity to talk about Ram after 500 years. We should only talk about him, not about Ravana.” Sarma was referring to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Let us tell you that earlier Himanta had said, “Rahul Gandhi is now not only afraid of me, but is also afraid of my children.”

Rahul sat on strike

There was high drama in Assam’s Nagaon on Monday when Gandhi was stopped from visiting Sri Sri Sankardev session in Nagaon district and holding a meeting in Morigaon district. In protest, Gandhi questioned whether PM Modi would now decide who would go to the temple and when. Rahul Gandhi had left early in the morning for Satra, the birthplace of 15th century social reformer Srimanta Sankardev, but was stopped at Haibargaon, after which he sat on a dharna along with other senior party leaders. Congress also claimed that the authorities did not give any reason for stopping them.

‘Will PM Modi decide who will go to the temple?’

Rahul Gandhi asked the police officials, “Will PM Modi now decide who will go to the temple and when?… We do not want any problem, we just want to pray in the temple.” Rahul Gandhi alleged that Modi put pressure on the Assam government to prevent him from visiting the birthplace of the revered saint and paying homage.

The Congress leader further said that he believes in the philosophy of Shankardev because “we, like him, do not believe in bringing people together and spreading hatred.” He is like a guru to us and gives us direction. . So I thought that when I come to Assam, I will pay my respects to him.
