The investigation into the security lapse in Parliament on December 13 is continuing. Delhi Police has filed an application to conduct polygraphy test of all the accused. The next hearing of the case will be held on January 2 in Patiala House Court. Delhi Police produced Sagar Sharma, Neelam Azad, Amol Shinde, Lalit Jha, Mukesh Kumawat and Manoranjan D at Patiala House.

What did Delhi Police say?

Delhi Police said that all the accused should be asked whether they are ready for the polygraphy test. Legal Remand Council said that he is not available in Delhi right now. The court said that it is necessary for the accused to talk to the Legal Remand Council, which is not available in the court right now. Delhi Police said that our investigation will be delayed, so another legal remand council should be called. Meanwhile, the counsel for the accused, the Legal Remand Council, sought a copy of the application. The court said that when you come to the court, you will be given a copy of the application. The court said that if the accused wants to talk to any member of his family, then file a proper application for the same.

Two youths had entered the Lok Sabha

Let us tell you that December 13 was the 22nd anniversary of the attack on Parliament. During the proceedings of the Lok Sabha, two youths had jumped into the House from the spectator gallery. These youth were shouting slogans, then a youth took out a spray from his shoe and sprayed yellow gas. During this time, a stampede-like situation was created in the House. Police had arrested a woman, Neelam Devi, and a youth, Amol Shinde, while raising slogans and protesting outside the House. Both were spraying yellow colored gas. Apart from these four accused, the police had arrested two more youths, Lalit Jha and Mahesh Kumawat.
