PM Modi will once again contest elections from Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again contest from Varanasi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah from Gandhinagar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh from Lucknow. The names of 34 Union ministers are included in this list while the tickets of four ministers have been cancelled. After canceling the ticket of Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi, Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of former Union Minister late Sushma Swaraj, has been made the candidate in her place, while in place of Minister of State in the Ministry of Minority Affairs John Barla, the party has given ticket to Alipurduar MLA Manoj Tigga.
