PM Modi met the children who won the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met and interacted with the awardees of the Prime Minister’s National Child Award 2024 in Delhi on Tuesday. PM Modi also caressed the little children and also got photographed with them. During this, Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani was also present. Prime Minister Modi also gave gifts to small children with his own hands and also talked to them.

President Draupadi Murmu gave awards to 19 children on Monday.

Let us tell you that President Draupadi Murmu honored 19 children with the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award on Monday. The award was given to 19 children – nine boys and 10 girls – from 18 states and union territories for extraordinary bravery, artistic skill, innovative thinking and selfless service.

President Murmu presented the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Awards-2024 in six categories – art and culture (seven), bravery (one), innovation (one), science and technology (one), social service (four) and sports (five).

During this, President Draupadi Murmu, while appreciating the use of technology by children for educational and personal development, mentioned concerns like ‘deep-fakes’, financial fraud and child exploitation and cautioned against its misuse. Murmu said, “Social media is a powerful tool for communication and awareness, but it is also misused to spread rumours. Therefore, it is important to be cautious and avoid such activities as one wrong move can put your future at risk.
