Police arrested 5 miscreants of Haldwani violence
Severe violence was witnessed in Haldwani, Uttarakhand on Thursday. Violence broke out after the demolition of an illegal mosque in Vanbhulpura area of Haldwani. During this, severe stone pelting was done on the police, in which many policemen were injured. After this, curfew was imposed in Haldwani and orders were issued to shoot the rioters on sight. Let us tell you that curfew is still in force in Haldwani and internet service has been stopped. Meanwhile, in the Vanbhulpura case, Nainital Police has taken immediate action and arrested 5 miscreants.
5 accused of Haldwani violence arrested
Cases were registered against 3 accused on the complaint made by the Municipal Corporation and the police. Teams were formed to investigate the cases. On the basis of CCTV and other evidence, 5 accused have been arrested. Curfew has been lifted for the time being from other areas except Vanbhoolpura area. Only essential items are being supplied. Also, Vanbhulpura police station is being operated smoothly. Let us inform that after the incident, CM Pushkar Singh had reached Dhami to take stock of the violence-hit area. After this he reached the hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured. During this, CM Dhami said that the work of removing encroachment was going on by the administration as per the court order. There the administration was attacked in a planned manner. An attempt was made to kill the administration people there. Strict action will be taken against the accused of this incident.
