New Delhi : Congress leader Digvijay Singh said that according to religious scriptures, no idol can be consecrated in a temple whose construction is incomplete, it is considered inauspicious. Can any established religious leader accept the invitation?” Has not done… He has expressed objection.
Digvijay Singh said that not only Congress but all the political parties who have received invitation – Shiv Sena, RJD, JD (U), TMC, CPI, CPI (M) – who is participating in it?… Lord Ram belongs to everyone. …We will be happy to visit the temple but first the construction should be completed. They have made it a BJP event.”
