DSP died under suspicious circumstances

Chandigarh: A Deputy Superintendent (DSP) of the Punjab Armed Police (PAP) was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Monday. As soon as this information was received in Jalandhar on Monday, there was a stir. Police has given this information. According to the police, there were injury marks on the body of DSP Dalbir Singh (54) and his body was found lying on a road in Basti Bawa Khel, Jalandhar. He was posted in this area.

Police Commissioner’s statement came out

Jalandhar Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma said, ‘One leg of Dalbir Singh was found crushed. We are investigating this matter. According to the Police Commissioner, the road where Dalbir Singh’s body was found leads to his village in Kapurthala.

The incident site is about 8 kilometers away from his village. Police said that Dalbir Singh’s family has filed a complaint in this matter. According to police, the DSP was involved in a fight with people from another area in Jalandhar last month. However, no case was registered in this regard as both the parties reached a settlement. Dalbir Singh was previously a weightlifter, he was awarded the Arjuna Award in the year 2000. (input language)
