But this tactic did not work in the case of Sheikh Shahjahan.

Even after the court order, when there was a delay in handing over Shahjahan to CBI, the ED again reached the court. At the same time, the CBI team was present in the hospital. After the investigation, Sheikh was taken into custody and again got a medical checkup done in a hospital under the Central Government. After the report came, he was taken to the CBI lockup at Nizam Palace.
