There is a unique bank in the land of Lord Ram i.e. Ayodhya Dham where no one comes to deposit money but there are 35,000 account holders in this bank. Only peace of mind, faith and spirituality are found in this bank. There is no exchange of money here! This bank, which attracts the attention of the devotees and tourists coming to visit the newly constructed Ram temple, is an international bank, its name is “International Shri Sitaram Bank”. There are many booklets with “Sitaram” written on all their pages. This spiritual bank was established in November 1970 by Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, head of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. This bank has more than 35,000 account holders in India and abroad including USA, UK, Canada, Nepal, Fiji, UAE.

Collection of 20,000 crore ‘Sitaram’ booklets

The bank has a collection of Rs 20,000 crore ‘Sitaram’ booklets from devotees of Lord Ram. According to bank manager Punit Ram Das Maharaj, the number of daily visitors to the bank has increased after the consecration ceremony of the grand Ram temple last month. “The bank provides free booklets and red pens to the devotees and keeps track of each account. To open an account in the bank one has to write ‘Sitaram’ at least 5 lakh times and then a passbook is issued.

“The bank has 136 branches across India and even abroad. Account holders also send us booklets by post and we maintain the ledgers here,” Puneet Ram Das told PTI. Also questions the benefits of writing and depositing it in the bank.

“I tell them that just as we go to the temples of Gods and Goddesses for inner peace, faith and virtue, similarly writing ‘Sitaram’ and depositing it in the bank is also a form of prayer. Don’t we say that Does God have His own record of everyone’s good and bad deeds? It is something like that. Devotees find solace and deep spiritual prosperity in writing, chanting and remembering the name of Lord Rama, he said. Puneet Ram Das told that it is believed that by writing the name 84 lakh times a person attains ‘moksha’.

People shared their experiences

Jitu Nagar from Gaya, Bihar, who has been visiting the bank for 14 years, said this is his only form of prayer. Instead of praying in a temple, I practice this and it always works for me whenever I feel sad or in trouble. I write it throughout the year and deposit it in the bank once a year. You have an option that you can also send your booklet by post, but I would prefer to go there myself.” He said that he has already collected booklets worth Rs 1.37 crore.

Uman Das, another account holder from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, said he has written ‘Sitaram’ 25 lakh times. He said, “When I told my neighbor about the bank, he thought I was crazy, but I have strong faith. Whenever I write, I feel light and I feel that my prayers have been heard.” Are going.”

A new idol of Lord Ram was consecrated in the grand temple in a consecration ceremony led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22. Lakhs of people watched the “Pran Pratishtha (Abhishek)” ceremony on television in their homes and neighborhood temples, forming part of the historic event held just months before the Lok Sabha elections.
