MK Stalin’s tweet on Hemant Soren’s arrest

There has been a big upheaval in the politics of Jharkhand. Former Chief Minister of the state Hemant Soren was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday after questioning him on money laundering charges related to the alleged land scam. Just before his arrest, Hemant Soren had resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Jharkhand. The next CM of Jharkhand will be Champai Soren, but he has not taken the oath of office yet. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s reaction has come to light on the arrest of Hemant Soren.

“Abuse of power is revealed”

Stalin condemned the arrest of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren by the ED. He said that this shows the desperation and misuse of power of the BJP government at the Centre. Stalin targeted BJP, terming Soren’s arrest as condemnable and shameful and said that the opposition will not be afraid of his actions. Soren was arrested by the ED on Wednesday night after several hours of questioning in a money laundering case related to the alleged land scam.

“Will not be able to silence the voice of the opposition”

“Hemant Soren’s arrest is a clear demonstration of the political vendetta of the BJP government at the Centre,” Stalin said in a post on social media platform ‘X’. Using investigative agencies to harass a tribal leader is a low level act. This act shows desperation and abuse of power. BJP’s dirty tactics will not be able to silence the voice of the opposition.” He said, “Despite BJP’s vindictive politics, Hemant Soren is standing strong, refusing to bow down. His courage in adverse circumstances is commendable. His determination to fight against BJP’s intimidating tactics is an inspiration.”

After Bihar, earthquake in Jharkhand politics

Let us tell you that a few days ago the Grand Alliance government fell in Bihar. Nitish Kumar joined hands with BJP and formed a new government. In this way, Nitish Kumar resigned from the post of Chief Minister in the morning and once again took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar in the evening of the same day. Just 72 hours later, a similar situation occurred in Bihar’s neighboring state Jharkhand. However, the reason for political turmoil in Jharkhand is different from Bihar.
