Rejecting the bail plea of ​​Sanjay Singh, the court said that prima facie it believes that the case against Sanjay Singh is genuine. The evidence and materials presented show the involvement of Sanjay Singh in the alleged crime of money laundering. The Court said that as per the evidence, Sanjay Singh appears to be directly or indirectly involved in this crime.
According to the evidence Sanjay is guilty of the crime
The Court held that the evidence and material given is also sufficient to provide this Court with reasonable grounds to believe that Sajay Singh is guilty of the said offense in terms of the provisions contained under Section 45 of the PMLA. The Court further said that the conditions prescribed are not satisfactory for granting bail to Sanjay Singh in the present case.
Sanjay Singh was bribed
On Friday, the court said that witnesses and approvers prima facie show that bribe was given to Sanjay Singh. The Court further said that the statements prima facie show that the aforesaid amount was paid to Sanjay Singh as a bribe or kickback in return for benefits given to the stakeholders in the liquor business.
