Vande Bharat Train
New Delhi: There is good news for the devotees going on Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Now Indian Railways has also started the second Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi. This train will allow the devotees to have darshan of Vaishno Devi. This is the second Vande Bharat Express train running between New Delhi and Katra. A train is already running on this route.
Last month PM Modi had given the green signal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off this train in December. Its commercial operations have started from December 31. However, the timing of this train is slightly different from the Vande Bharat already running on this route. The first Vande Bharat train departs from Delhi in the morning and returns back to Delhi after reaching Katra in the afternoon. But the second Vande Bharat train leaves from Katra for Delhi in the morning and returns from Delhi to Katra in the afternoon.
Timing of Vande Bharat
According to the information, the second Vande Bharat Express leaves the capital Delhi at 3 pm and reaches Katra at 11:16 pm. After leaving from New Delhi station, this train stops at Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jammu-Tawi station.
Know the fare
In this second Vande Bharat train, which will leave from New Delhi for Katra at 3 pm, the chair car fare till Katra is Rs 1600 while the executive class fare is Rs 3 thousand. Starting from New Delhi, this train will reach Ambala Cantt at 17.10, Ludhiana Junction at 18.20, Jammu Tawi at 21.38 and Katra at 23.16. (agency)
