22-year-old Ram Kothari and 20-year-old Sharad Kothari were killed in police firing during Kar Seva at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya in 1990. His elder sister Purnima has shared her sentiments. He has said that our entire family is very happy. Since 1992, after the demise of my brothers, I have made an annual pilgrimage to Ayodhya and prayed for the cause ‘Ram Janmabhoomi Andolan’, a cause close to my late brothers. The souls of my brothers will now rest in peace.
Like the experience of second Diwali and Holi
Purnima Kothari said that the consecration of Ram temple is like the experience of second Diwali and Holi for all of us. He recalled that the Kothari brothers used to visit the RSS shakha near their residence in Kolkata’s Barabazar. On the call of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, he went to Ayodhya for Kar Seva. He sacrificed his life for a noble cause. He said that I am extremely proud of my brothers. Purnima and her family have already reached Ayodhya after receiving the invitation for Pran Pratistha.
Prana pratistha will take place on 22nd
The idol of Ramlala will be consecrated in the Ram temple of Ayodhya on 22nd January. Many senior leaders from across the country including PM Modi will be present in this program. The consecration ritual of Ramlala has started in the Ram temple with the atonement puja. These rituals will continue till 22 January. At the same time, Ramlala’s griha pravesh has taken place in Ram temple. Today on Thursday, Lord Ram Lalla will sit on the throne. (input language)
