Traffic alert issued in Delhi-NCR

Farmer organizations have made preparations to march in Delhi on 13 February. During this time, farmer organizations are going to protest after reaching Delhi. During this period, tight security arrangements have been made by the administration and the Singhu border has been sealed. Besides, barricading and bollards have been deployed on the routes. Meanwhile, in view of the protests on February 13, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory. According to the advisory issued by Delhi Traffic Police on February 13, cars going towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal via NH 44 and vehicles carrying goods will have to go to Shani Mandir through Alipore Cut. After this, one will have to reach MCD Toll Dahisara via Palla Bakhtawarpur Road Y Point via Dahisara Village Road. After this, one can reach Sonipat and Haryana via Singhu Stadium, PS Kundli via Jatti Kala Road.

Follow this route to go to Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal

On the other hand, if you come from exit number 2 on NH 44, you can enter Haryana via DSIIDC Cut, Harish Chander Hospital Red Light, Sector A/5 Red Light, Ramdev Chowk, and then Saboli Mode, Saboli Border. After Ramdev Chowk, one can go to Sonipat, Panipat and Karnal via Safiabad mode and Safiabad border. To go to Bahadurgarh, Rohtak etc., cut off from Exit 2 of NH 44 and take NH 9 via DSIIDC via Bawana Road, Kanjhawala T Point, Kanjhawala Chowk, Dr. Sahib Singh Verma Road, Jhanda Chowk, Nizampur Border, Savdaha Village. Take the exit which connects to Bahadurgarh.

Use this route to go to Ghaziabad

There is also a need for strictness on the Delhi-UP border. If you are going from Delhi to Ghaziabad via Ghazipur border, you can reach Ghaziabad via Pusta Road in front of Akshardham, Patparganj Road or Mother Dairy Road, Chaudhary Charan Singh Marg via ISBT Anand Vihar, Maharapur and Apsara Border. Vehicles have been diverted on the routes going to Haryana via NH 44 via Apsara, Maharajpur, Loni, Sabhapur, Sonia Vihar board. Under this, NH 44 can be reached by taking left turn from Dabur Chowk, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur Road, GT Road, Meerut Road Expressway, Dasna via Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Rai Cut.

Apart from this, NH 44 can be reached via Rai Cut by taking left from Inderpuri Loni, Puja Pavi, Panchlok, Mandola, Mussoorie, Khekra and Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Apart from this, NH 44 can be reached by taking left turn from Service Lane Delhi Dehradun Expressway, Puja Pavi, left turn from Panchlok, Mandola, Mussoorie, Khekra and Rai Cut from Lake Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Apart from this, NH 44 can be reached via Rai Cut by taking left term from Delhi Dehradun Expressway, Mandola, Mussoorie, Khekra via Tronika CT route, Troniga City, Eastern Peripheralway.

Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate issued alert

Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate has also issued a traffic advisory in view of the protest by farmer organizations. Barriers have been installed on all the borders from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi border. It has been said in the traffic advisory that intensive checking will be done by Delhi Police and Gautam Buddha Nagar Police, due to which in case of increase in traffic pressure on the routes from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi border, traffic will be diverted as per requirement. According to the traffic advisory issued by Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate, people going to Delhi should use metro to avoid inconvenience. Also, the arrival of all types of goods vehicles will be restricted on the route from Yamuna Expressway to Delhi via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and from Sirsa to Surajpur via Parichowk. The administration has also issued a helpline number in this regard. In fact, in case of inconvenience in traffic, helpline number 9971009001 can be contacted.

Use these routes for transportation in Noida

  • Vehicles going from Chilla border to Delhi will be able to reach their destination via Sector 14A flyover via Golchakkar Chowk Sector 15, Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk, Jhundpura Chowk.
  • Vehicles going from DND border to Delhi will be able to reach their destination using the elevated via Filmcity flyover, Sector 18.
  • Vehicles going from Kalindi border to Delhi will be able to reach their destination via Mahamaya flyover via Sector 37.
  • Traffic going to Delhi using Yamuna Expressway will be able to get down from Jewar Toll towards Khurja and reach the destination via Jahangirpur.
  • The traffic going to Delhi via Sirsa, Parichowk after getting off the Peripheral Expressway will be able to reach its destination via Dadri, Dasna instead of getting down at Sirsa.
  • Emergency vehicles will be sent to safe destinations during diversion.
