Gomti Nagar railway station will be renamed
Lucknow: Big news has come out from Lucknow, the capital of UP. Lucknow Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh says, “The mayor had put forward the proposal of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s representative Diwakar Tripathi before the administration that the name of Gomti Nagar railway station should be changed after former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.” ‘The administration has passed the proposal. Now this proposal will be sent to Indian Railways through DRM office. Further action will be taken at their level. From here the proposal will be sent within 2 days.
The names of these stations have been changed
Even before this, names of many railway stations have been changed. The name of Faizabad railway station in UP was changed to Ayodhya. Allahabad Railway Station was renamed as Prayagraj Junction. Pratapgarh railway station was named Maa Bhela Devi Dham. Whereas Mughalsarai Junction was renamed as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Railway Junction.
