Weather patterns will change in the next 24 hours

Weather Today: A new round of rain is starting in North-West India and Western Himalayan region from Saturday. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain and hailstorm during the next 48 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. For this, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert.

Snowfall alert in hilly states

There is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad on February 18 and 19. Whereas in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, there may be hailstorm with heavy rain at isolated places till 19-21 February. There is also a possibility of snowfall in the hilly states.

Dense fog falling in these states

The Meteorological Department said that dense fog was seen in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and eastern UP this morning. There will be no respite from morning fog here even during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, dense fog can also be seen in West Bengal and Sikkim.

Delhi’s climate

Light fog was seen in Delhi-NCR this morning. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear sky on Friday and moderate fog in the morning. At the same time, the minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around nine and 26 degrees Celsius respectively. However, it may decline again next week. According to the IMD forecast, there is a possibility of light rain or thundershowers from February 19 (Monday) to February 21.

It rained heavily here

Let us tell you that in the IMD bulletin released on Thursday, it has been said that due to a western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain in North-West India next week. On Thursday, light to moderate rain and thundershowers occurred at isolated places in West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand.
