Why does Congress party oppose Adani?

Your Court: Congress party and its leaders often oppose industrialist Gautam Adani. However, his own party’s government in the states also signs business agreements with the Adani Group. After this the question arises that when Congress opposes Adani so much then how can the governments of its own party make compromises. When a similar question was asked to Congress General Secretary Sachin Pilot in India TV’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, he also explained the reason for this.

Congress Party is not opposed to any business group – Pilot

Sachin Pilot said that the Congress Party is not opposed to any business group. Our protest is that all the work of the country is being given to one group. He said that if any industrial group wants to do some work transparently, then no matter which state it is, it should get permission. If it does it in a non-transparent manner, then even if it is a Congress government, it should also be investigated. I just believe that the standards should be equal. If people suspect that something has gone wrong or there is a case going on in the court or there is a report coming where we feel that there has been some mistake then it is not right.

Central government is handing over everything to a single business group – Sachin Pilot

The Congress General Secretary said that the Central Government is handing over everything to a single business group. The Congress party is opposed to this very thing. The government should conduct fair bidding and whoever wins should get the job. But it has not been like that. On Adani getting work in the Congress government, Sachin Pilot says that the state governments of our party conduct fair bidding and whoever wins it is given the work. He said that during our government in Rajasthan, an investment of Rs 25,000 crore was signed with Adani Group. I don’t have any problem with it. You invest Rs 1 lakh crore, but there is competition for bidding. You qualify. You follow the rules and regulations. Invest. No one has any objection.
