Ingredients to make Ragi Laddus
- Ragi flour – 1 cup
- Jaggery – 1/2 cup
- Ghee – 1/2 cup
- Almonds – 8-10
- Cashews – 8-10
How to make Ragi Laddu
To make Ragi Laddu, first cut cashews and almonds into small pieces and keep them aside in a bowl. Now take a pan and add ghee in it. Now add ragi flour in it and mix well with a ladle. Cook the flour on medium flame for 1-2 minutes. When a faint aroma starts coming from the flour, add chopped cashews and almonds and mix. After frying it for one more minute, turn off the gas.
Now let the roasted flour cool slightly. When the flour remains slightly warm, take it out in a tray or plate and add melted jaggery to it as per taste. Now mix well with both hands. After this, take a little mixture in your hands and start tying laddus. As the laddus get tied, keep them aside in a plate. After tying the laddus of the entire mixture, keep them aside for some time, so that they bind well. Now ragi laddus are completely ready to eat.
