Till date you might have eaten Gujiya made from Mawa, Tri-Fruits and various other things, but today we will tell you the recipe of Namkeen Gujiya. Actually, this Gujiya lasts longer than the Mawa Gujiya and you will not be satisfied with its taste. Besides, it is also very easy to make. So, let us know how to make Namkeen Gujiya.

Method of preparation-Recipe of namkeen gujiya

-In a bowl, add some flour, semolina, wheat flour, salt and some hot oil.
Then add water to it and knead the dough. Then cover it and keep it aside.
To make the filling, place a pan on the gas, add some oil, dry whole red chillies, mustard seeds, urad dal, fennel, nigella seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida and some chopped green chillies and fry them.
-Turn off the flame and add desiccated coconut, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and garam masala powder.
-Now add coriander leaves and some jaggery powder and salt. Mix everything well and your stuffing is ready.
-After this make small balls of the dough. Take a ball of dough and roll it.
-Then apply a little water on it and stick the Gujiya from each corner by overlapping it.
– Design it with a fork.
-Fry the Gujiya in oil.

You can also store this Gujiya for a long time. You can serve it with green and red chutney and enjoy it to the fullest. So, do try this salty Gujiya sometime.
