Ingredients for making cheela

  • Semolina 1 cup
  • curd half cup
  • water 1 cup
  • Baking soda half tablespoon
  • Onion
  • Carrot
  • Capsicum
  • green coriander
  • paper powder
  • garam masala
  • Salt
  • oil or ghee

Make semolina cheela like this

First of all, take 1 cup semolina in a bowl. Now add half cup curd and 1 cup water in it. Beat them well, now keep this batter covered for 15 minutes. Now finely chop onion, carrot, green coriander and capsicum and mix well in this batter. Now add paper powder, a little baking soda, garam masala and salt as per taste to this batter and add a little water. Now place a pan on the gas. Lightly oil the pan and pour 1 ladle of batter onto the pan. When it gets lightly cooked, turn it over. Bake well from both the sides and now your semolina cheela is ready. You can eat it with sauce or green coriander chutney. This semolina cheela helps in reducing your weight.
