Ingredients to make Rava Upma
- Semolina- one cup
- Oil- 2 tsp
- Onion- 1
- Tomato-1
- Capsicum- 1
- Carrot-1
- Beans – two to three
- Urad dal- 1 tsp
- Chana dal- 1 tsp
- Mustard – 1 tsp
- Green chilli- 2
- Curry leaves-4-5
- salt as per taste

How to make Rava Upma
To make Upma, first place the pan on the gas and add 1 teaspoon oil. Now add 1 cup semolina to it and fry it until it becomes light golden. When it is roasted, take it out in a plate. Again add one tablespoon oil in the pan. Now add one teaspoon chana dal, one teaspoon urad dal and mustard and fry. After that add two green chillies and curry leaves in it. Now add finely chopped onion and stir until it turns brown. When it turns golden brown, add vegetables like peas, beans, carrots, capsicum all together. Now fry the vegetables until cooked. Now add salt as per taste. When they are cooked, add chopped tomatoes to it. Now cover them and cook for a few minutes. Now add roasted semolina to it and mix. Finally add hot water and let it cook. Lastly garnish with finely chopped coriander. Your simile is ready.
