Home remedies for sore throat

Some people get hoarseness due to cold and cough. Many times, throat gets hoarse due to shouting or change in eating habits. Some people also have to face the problem of hoarseness due to extreme cold. Although hoarseness does not cause any special problem, but when no voice comes out then there is difficulty in speaking and listening. Hoarseness for a long time causes problems like sore throat and pain in the throat. Sometimes even drinking cold water causes throat irritation. Eating too cold things, especially in winter, can cause this problem. Today we are telling you some remedies to cure sore and sore throat. Which will provide immediate relief to the throat.

What to do if your throat gets sore

  1. Consume ginger- If your throat is hoarse or sore then use ginger. Ginger contains elements which provide relief from sore throat. If you want, chew a piece of ginger. Apart from this, put some pieces of ginger in milk and then drink it hot. This will give you a lot of relief. You can also eat ginger by applying salt on it.
  2. Gargle with salt water- A very easy way to get rid of all throat problems is to gargle with salt water. This will remove the problem of sore throat and hoarseness. For this, take some hot water in a glass and add salt in it. Now gargle with this water at least 2-3 times a day. You will get a lot of relief from your throat.
  3. Use cinnamon- Cinnamon has properties which are beneficial for the throat. If your throat hurts, use cinnamon. For this, mix cinnamon powder in 1 teaspoon honey and then eat it. This will give relief to your throat.
  4. Apple vinegar- Some people also use apple cider vinegar in case of sore throat. Mixing 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar in a glass of lukewarm water and gargling with it will provide relief.
  5. Eat black pepper- Use black pepper to relieve throat problems and get relief from cold and cough. For this, take 1 teaspoon black pepper powder and mix it with 1 teaspoon honey. Lick it and then do not drink water for half an hour. You can also drink tea by adding black pepper. This will clear the sore throat.
