Ingredients for making Poha

You will have to take about 2 cups of poha. For this, take half cup of salty sev, half cup of peanuts, finely chopped coriander, some curry leaves, 1 lemon, ΒΌ teaspoon of curry turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of oil, 2 teaspoons of sugar, salt as per taste, finely chopped green chillies. , some mustard, finely chopped onion, finely chopped tomato.

Recipe to make Steamed Poha (How to make Steamed Poha)

  1. First of all, you have to wash the poha thoroughly with water 1-2 times. Now mix sugar, salt and turmeric in poha. Now leave the poha like this for 5 minutes.

  2. When the Poha rises, spread it by tossing with hands or with the help of a spoon.

  3. Take a vessel which can hold a sieve full of poha and pour water in the vessel and keep it to boil.

  4. Now spread the poha in the strainer and when the water boils, place the strainer over the water and cover it.

  5. You have to steam the poha in this manner for about 10 minutes and keep the gas flame medium.

  6. When the poha is cooked, take it out in a vessel and squeeze lemon juice over it.

  7. Now you have to prepare tadka to add to poha, for which add 1 spoon oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies and fry them.

  8. Spread the prepared tempering over the poha and then chop all the vegetables.

  9. If you want, you can dry roast the peanuts or fry them in tadka oil.

  10. To serve poha, put it in a plate and add some chopped onion, tomato and green coriander over it.

  11. Now pour some lemon juice on top and add some salty sev.

  12. Very tasty Indori style poha is ready, which you can eat anytime.
