Ingredients for making yellow rice

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. sugar as per taste
  3. 5 cups water
  4. 1 to 2 saffron
  5. 3 to 4 teaspoon ghee
  6. cloves
  7. Cashew
  8. Almond
  9. Bay leaf
  10. green cardamom

How to make yellow rice

To make yellow rice, soak saffron in half a bowl of water and keep it for 30 minutes. Put ghee in the pan, add bay leaves, cardamom, cashew nuts and almonds and fry well. Now add rice in the pan and fry it for 2 minutes. After this, add water to the rice and keep it to cook. After the rice is cooked, filter it and take it out. Now again add ghee in the pan and heat it. Now add sugar to it and make syrup. Add rice and saffron water to this syrup and mix well. Keep frying the rice until the water in the rice dries up. Garnish the rice by adding cashew nuts and almonds.
