Besan Ka Halwa Recipe: It is extremely cold these days. In winter, one feels like eating only hot things. You must include such things in your diet, which help in keeping the body warm from inside. Especially include healthy and hot things in the diet of children and the elderly. For this, it is important that you make gram flour a part of your diet. In winter you can make gram flour pudding and eat it. If you get to eat hot gram flour halwa while sitting under the quilt, then the pleasure of cold gets doubled. Gram flour is also beneficial for health. Making gram flour halwa is quite easy. Children will like this halwa very much. Know the recipe of making gram flour halwa.

Ingredients for making gram flour pudding

To make gram flour halwa, you need 100 grams of gram flour. To add it, you need 100 grams of ghee, 100 grams of sugar and 400 milliliters of milk. Now you have to use 10-12 chopped almonds, 10 chopped cashews, 8-10 chopped pistachios and some cardamom powder for flavor to garnish.

Method of making gram flour pudding

  1. To prepare gram flour halwa, put ghee in a pan and let it heat slightly.
  2. When the ghee melts, add whole gram flour in it and fry on medium flame till the gram flour turns golden brown.
  3. After roasting, the color of the gram flour will change and the aroma will also start coming. The hallmark of roasting gram flour is that gram flour starts releasing ghee.
  4. It may take you 15 to 20 minutes to roast the gram flour, fry the gram flour on medium flame only.
  5. After this, add sugar to the gram flour and fry it for about 4-5 minutes while stirring.
  6. When you add sugar to gram flour and fry it, the color of the halwa looks very beautiful.
  7. Lower the gas flame and slowly add milk to the gram flour halwa and keep stirring.
  8. You have to cook the gram flour till it becomes thick and break the lumps with a ladle while stirring.
  9. When the gram flour becomes thick like halwa, add dry fruits to it. Mix chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios in it.
  10. When the halwa is ready, add cardamom powder and while serving, add 2 spoons of ghee to the halwa.
  11. Add some cashews, almonds and pistachios on top, which will make the halwa look even more beautiful.
  12. Very tasty gram flour halwa is ready. You eat it hot and enjoy the winter to the fullest.

In winter, eat tikkis made of millet, jaggery and sesame, the taste is such that even cookies fail.
