Ingredients to make Paneer Kheer

You need about 200 grams of cheese for this. For this, 2 cups of low fat milk is required. Use 2-3 tablespoons of honey or any sweetener for sweetness in kheer. You need 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder and some saffron threads. Chop any dry fruits of your choice to add to the kheer.

Paneer Kheer Recipe

  • First of all break the cheese into fine pieces. If you want, you can also grate it with the thick side.
  • Take a pan or kadai and keep the milk in it to boil on medium flame. Keep stirring the milk continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom.
  • When the milk boils and the halda becomes thick, add mashed paneer to it. Keep stirring it continuously so that lumps do not form.
  • Add whatever sweetener you are using to the kheer. If you are adding honey then add the kheer after it cools down a bit.
  • Now add cardamom and saffron threads to the kheer for taste and mix it.
  • Paneer kheer is ready in about 10-15 minutes. Add dry fruits as per your choice in kheer.
  • Let the kheer cool slightly and eat it. Even diabetic patients can eat it without sugar.
  • Paneer kheer is more nutritious than it looks delicious.
