Babar Azam and Shan Masood
Pakistan cricket team has reached Australia tour to play a three-match Test series under the leadership of new Test captain Shan Masood. Before this, the Pakistan team got a chance to play a four-day practice match against the Prime Minister’s XI team on the ground of Canberra to test its preparations. In this match, Pakistan team won the toss and decided to bat first but the team lost both its opening batsmen till the score of 76. After this, captain Shan Masood and Babar Azam took charge of the innings and started taking it forward. During this time, Babar did something which surprised everyone.

Shan Masood and Babar together took Pakistan’s score to 168 runs. Meanwhile, when Shaan shot Beau Webster’s ball towards mid-off, Babar tried to stop it, seeing which everyone from the Pakistan captain to the players present in the field were quite surprised. Babar returned to the pavilion in this match after playing an innings of 40 runs in 88 balls. Jordan Buckingham made him his victim. This series is going to be very important for Babar as a batsman, because in the ODI World Cup, Babar was not able to show any magic with the bat. After the poor performance of the team, he had to leave the captaincy of Pakistan team in all three formats. In such a situation, Babar, who is coming to play this series as a player, can definitely be seen playing without pressure in this series.
Pak captain played a brilliant century innings
Along with getting the captaincy in the Test, Shan Masood definitely impressed everyone with his batting in the practice match also. A century innings is being seen from Shaan’s bat. Apart from this, wicketkeeper batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed missed scoring a half-century in which he returned to the pavilion after playing an innings of 41 runs in 47 balls. Pakistan team has not been successful in winning the Test series in Australia even once.
