Now he will join his Bengal team in Ranji Trophy and will be seen playing the next match of Ranji Trophy. However, he will join Team India back in Ranchi where the fourth match of the series will be played.

In the second match of the series, Mukesh Kumar got a chance in the playing 11 in place of Mohammad Siraj. In the first innings of this match, Mukesh Kumar bowled 7 overs, although he did not get a single wicket. Whereas, in the second innings of this match, Mukesh Kumar bowled 5 overs and took 1 wicket for 26 runs. Mukesh Kumar has played a total of 3 test matches for Team India, in which he has taken 7 wickets.
