But even before this season, Delhi team released him and in the auction, Kolkata Knight Riders team bought him for just Rs 50 lakh. His base price was also the same. But they have suffered a loss of Rs 4.10 crore since last season. Pandey has scored 3808 runs in 170 IPL matches, which includes 1 century, but KKR bought this star batsman at a very cheap price.
2. Chetan Sakaria
Chetan Sakariya played for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023. Then he got Rs 4.20 crore. But he was able to take only three wickets in 2 matches. Due to poor performance this time, Delhi Capitals team released him before the auction. In the IPL 2024 auction, Chetan Sakaria was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders team for just Rs 50 lakh. 3. Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan is known for his hitting power. He has played the role of finisher for two seasons in IPL for Punjab Kings. Punjab Kings bought him for Rs 9 crore, but Punjab Kings released him before the IPL 2024 auction. In the auction, Shahrukh was bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 7.40 crore. Due to this, they have suffered a loss of Rs 1.60 crore since last season.
4. Kartik Tyagi
Kartik Tyagi played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2023. He was bought by Hyderabad team for Rs 4 crore. But he was released before the IPL 2024 auction. In the auction, Gujarat Titans team bought him for just Rs 60 lakh. Similarly, they have suffered a loss of Rs 3.40 crore since the IPL 2023 season. Karthik has played 19 matches in IPL so far and has taken 15 wickets.
5. Shardul Thakur
Shardul Thakur played for Kolkata Knight Riders last season. Then he got Rs 10.75 lakh for playing in one season. But after this the KKR team released him before the IPL 2024 auction. Now Shardul has been bought by Chennai Super Kings in the auction for Rs 4 crore. In this way he has suffered a loss of Rs 6.75 crore.
