Addressing the nation on Thursday, Putin praised the country’s national unity. He praised the spirit of nationalism among the people of the country. Putin is well aware of the fact that despite continuous help to Ukraine from NATO and Western countries, if Moscow has prevailed over Kiev, it is because of the strength of the people of the country. If people did not have a sense of nationalism, they would have come to the streets by now.
