A massive bomb explosion took place in Pakistan’s extremism-hit south-western Balochistan province on Sunday. Three people are reported dead in this blast. Police officer Mohammad Rahim said that the bomb exploded on an unpaved road in Balgtar area of Kech district, killing three people, including two brothers who were going to attend a family function, and destroying a car. At present no group has taken responsibility for this blast. It is suspected that the attack was carried out by separatist groups involved in extremist activities for more than two decades in the province rich in gas and mineral resources. These groups are demanding independence from Islamabad.
