After the completion of the presidential elections in Taiwan, China is shocked by the defeat of its favorite candidate. In fact, staunch anti-China leader Lai Ching Te has been elected President in Taiwan. Due to this, China’s wishes have been dashed. Therefore, China has increased military activities on the border to put pressure on Taiwan. Taiwan said it had detected the first major Chinese military activity in the border area since the presidential election. It claims to have detected 18 Chinese Air Force aircraft and warships around the island. Taiwan said it was the first example of major Chinese military activity since last week’s presidential election.

Taiwan’s defense ministry said it detected 18 active Chinese air force aircraft around Taiwan on Wednesday conducting “joint combat readiness patrols” with Chinese warships. This is the first large-scale military activity since the recently concluded presidential elections in Taiwan. Let us tell you that China views Taiwan as its territory and has been regularly sending warplanes and warships into the skies and waters around the island in the last four years. China associates it with its sovereignty, while the Taipei government rejects its claim.

China got a big blow due to Lai Ching Te’s victory.

Taiwan elected Lai Ching-tey of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) as its next president on January 13. Lai Ching-tey has been a Taiwanese leader whom China has repeatedly criticized as a dangerous separatist and warmonger. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said around 7:50 pm on Wednesday it had detected 18 Chinese aircraft, including Su-30 fighters flying over northern and central Taiwan and the island’s southwest. The ministry said 11 of those aircraft crossed the midline of the Taiwan Strait, or adjacent areas, while working to conduct “joint combat readiness patrols” with Chinese warships.

Taiwan sent its army

In view of China’s military activities, Taiwan also sent its forces for surveillance. The Defense Ministry said “The security and prosperity of the Taiwan Strait region is closely linked to global development and stability. Taiwan’s military will continue to strengthen its self-defense capabilities and respond to regional threats according to enemy threats and self-defense needs. However, Taiwan There has been no immediate reaction from China’s Defense Ministry on these allegations yet.
