18 members of the US Congress participated in the inaugural ceremony of the Congressional Hindu Caucus.
Washington DC: The grand inauguration of the Congressional Hindu Caucus took place in the US capital Washington DC. On this occasion, its Policy Advisor Shalabh “Shalli” Kumar praised former President Donald Trump. Shalli said that it was President Trump who first recognized the relevance of the Hindu community in America. He said that more than 150 members of the US House of Representatives have committed to become members of the Congressional Hindu Caucus, making it one of the largest caucuses in the US Congress.
‘Will be involved in making laws for the community’
Shalabh Kumar said that this caucus will be actively involved in making important laws and passing resolutions for the Hindu American community. The inaugural event, held at the Hotel Hyatt Regency in Washington DC, was chaired by Elise Stefanik and attended by 18 members of the US Congress. On this occasion, Shalabh Kumar said that as a US presidential candidate, President Trump for the first time participated in a Hindu American rally on 15 October 2016 and recognizing the relevance of the Hindu community, said that ‘We love Hindus. Do’ and ‘We love India.’
‘You can be a Hindu even if you are an atheist’
Speaking about Hinduism, Shalabh Kumar said, ‘Hindu is not a religion, it is a way of life, it is a culture with rich traditions. Hindus do not have one God or one holy book like the Bible. You can be an atheist and still be a Hindu. Hindus are allowed to question, debate and even debate whether God exists or is just a powerful force. This is one reason, Hindus are secular and extremely tolerant. Hindus believe in Sanatana Dharma, which provides a set of eternal and universal moral principles of virtue and true living that are also found in Christianity and Judaism.’
‘One in every 8 medical professionals is Hindu’
Speaking on the achievements made by Hindu Americans, Shalabh Kumar said, ‘Of the 6 million Hindu Americans in America, more than 75% have a bachelor’s degree, more than 55% have a master’s degree, 8 out of 8 medical professionals One is a Hindu, one in 10 owns some business, and there is no sector where Hindus are not at or near the top. 20% of all high tech start-ups are owned by Hindu Americans and the list of Hindu CEOs, CTOs, CFOs in Fortune 100 companies is growing every day. The average per household income of Hindu American families is $135,000 per year, the highest among all communities in the country.’

‘China is a threat to freedom seekers’

With an average GDP growth rate of 8% compared to America’s 2%, the Chinese economy will be twice the size of ours and its military budget will also be at least double. We have to change this situation. He said that he is also writing a book on this subject named “Chinese Colonization Of America And The Only Man Who Can Stop It”.
