Actually, a woman who had gone for shopping became a victim of mob lynching. People present there surrounded her for wearing Arabic printed dress.

The mob surrounded a woman sitting here and even tried to kill her. This woman had come to a hotel in Achra Bazaar, Lahore to eat food. There was a print in Arabic language on the dress of that woman. Some people present there called it a verse from the Quran and accused him of blasphemy.
Then what happened, within no time a crowd gathered there. The woman was surrounded from all sides, due to which she got scared. People accused the woman of insulting her. It was fortunate that area police officer ASP Syeda Shahrabano Naqvi reached there on time and took the woman out of the crowd and brought her to the police station. This prevented any untoward incident from happening.

However, despite not being at fault, the woman apologized for the incident. In the video shared online, the woman was heard saying, ‘I liked the kurta so I bought it. Didn’t think people would think like this.
Punjab Police praised the female police officer

Meanwhile, talking about the incident, the woman police officer said in another video, ‘The woman had gone for shopping with her husband. He was wearing a kurta on which some words were written. When some people saw it, they asked him to take off his kurta because of the print written in Arabic language. This created a situation of confusion.

Sharing the video, a person said, ‘Another drama in Lahore. The woman was surrounded by people as her wristbands bore names in Arabic, some saying verses from the Quran. Actually, it is not. These are just simple Arabic words which are not about religion. Whatever is written on it means beautiful. This is an Arabic word. The trend of religious cards is increasing across the country. Mob lynching is swallowing the country. The question is who is promoting such things.
