Pakistan News: There has been a change once again regarding the election dates in Pakistan. Even before this, many changes had taken place regarding the elections. According to the latest information, the Election Commission of Pakistan has made another new change on Friday. According to this, the Election Commission has released a new schedule. Amidst the general elections to be held on 8 February 2024, the Commission has extended the date for filing nominations by two more days. After the change, now the candidates filing nomination will be able to fill their nomination form till 24th December.

Last date for nomination was 22nd December

Nomination has started for the general elections to be held in February in Pakistan. According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, earlier they could submit their nomination papers till 22 December. Now the date has been extended by two more days.

Imran Khan will contest elections from three seats

General elections are to be held on February 8 next year. Jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan will also contest the elections. His party has announced that Imran Khan will contest elections from 3 seats. However, the names of the seats from where Imran will contest have not been revealed yet. Let us tell you that after the new delimitation, there will be 336 seats in the National Assembly, the lower house of the Parliament, out of which 266 general seats, 60 seats will be reserved for women and 10 seats will be reserved for non-Muslims.
