America Hindu Temple Attack: Khalistani supporters have once again targeted a Hindu temple in America. According to the information, the people of the community are in shock after three Hindu temples were targeted one after the other in the Gulf region of California, America. The Hindu American Foundation said in an ‘X’ post on Friday that the Sherawali Temple of Victory in Hayward has been targeted by anti-India and Khalistan supporters.
Pro-Khalistani slogans written on the walls of the temple
Slogans in support of Khalistan were written on the walls of Sherawali temple in California. Earlier on December 23 last year, Shri Swaminarayan Temple in Newark was targeted by Khalistan supporters and anti-India slogans were written on its wall, while an incident of theft was also reported in Shiv Durga Temple in the same area.
Temple administration informed the police
The temple administration has said that they have informed the Alameda Police Department and Civil Rights Division. He also said in an internet post that we are once again encouraging all temple leaders to download the Hindu American Temple Safety Guide.
The guide specifically discusses that slogans written on temple premises or walls are a form of hate crime. The importance of installing working security cameras and alarm systems in view of the increasing threat has also been discussed. The post further said that there is a threat from Khalistan supporters as well as other anti-Hindu people.
