Nikki said that India is becoming smart and has maintained friendship with Russia in the current circumstances.

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Wednesday said India wants to partner with the US, but she does not trust the Americans to lead. Nikki also said that India has shown tact in the current global situation and has been close with Russia. In an interview given to a media channel, 51-year-old Haley said that at present India considers America weak.

‘India has shown cleverness in relations with America’, said Nikki Haley

Nikki said, I have also dealt with India. I have spoken to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India wants to be a partner with us. They don’t want to be partners with Russia. But the problem is that India does not have confidence in our victory. They don’t have confidence in us that we can lead. They see right now that we are weak. India has always shown cleverness in this matter. They have really played it smart, and they have been close to Russia. Because this is where they get a lot of their military equipment.

What else did Nikki say about weak American leadership?

Former South Carolina Governor Haley said, when we start leading again, start removing our weakness, only then our friends, India, Australia, New Zealand and Israel, Japan, South Korea will also do the same. Citing the example of Japan, he said that the country has given itself an incentive of billions of dollars to become less dependent on China. India also gave itself an incentive of one billion dollars to reduce its dependence on China, he told Fox Business News. He said that America needs to start building its own alliances.
