The Armed Forces of Ukraine said Russia launched an attack against Ukraine with about 75 Iranian-made drones. Of which 71 were killed. Serhiy Popko, head of the Kiev city administration, said, “This attack was the deadliest air attack carried out by drones on Kiev.” Popko said that the attack on Kiev began at 4 a.m. local time, which lasted more than six hours. 5 people injured, many buildings demolished

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said at least five civilians were injured and several buildings were damaged in drone strikes that lasted several hours in the city. He said that an 11-year-old boy was also among the injured. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on Telegram, “Our soldiers shot down most of the drones. We continue to work to strengthen our air defense and shoot down drones.” Apart from Kiev, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions were also targeted. (AP)
