Gaza: The Hamas-controlled health ministry in Gaza said a 7-day ceasefire between the two sides ended on Friday morning. According to the Health Ministry, a few hours later, more than 175 Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip. Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Kedra said in a press statement that Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip killed about 109 Palestinians, mostly women and children, Xinhua news agency reported. According to Al-Kedra, two Palestinian journalists were also among the dead.
