According to the information, China’s Consul General Kong Xinhua has said that the economic and cultural ties between the people of China and India are very strong and no one can separate them. Kong said this on the occasion of Chinese New Year celebrations and Chinese cultural program in Mumbai on Friday. He said that 2023 was a year full of achievements for both China and India.
‘The increase in the number of Indians going to China shows confidence’
“This has been made possible by the immense cooperation among our people,” he said. He said that China-India trade will exceed $136.2 billion in 2023. He said the Chinese Embassy and Consulate General in India issued more than 1.8 lakh visas last year, reflecting the surge in the number of Indians visiting China following the coronavirus pandemic.
Youth got inspiration to learn Chinese language in the competition
Kong said, “We organized a Chinese proficiency competition for the first time in Mumbai. This inspired Indian youth to learn Chinese language. These events deepened my belief that the economic and cultural ties between our people are so strong that no one can separate us.”
