Visa Free Iran Visit: There is good news for Indian tourists traveling to Iran. Indian tourists who will visit Iran now do not need a visa. Iran has started visa free facility for Indian tourists. Iran’s Embassy in New Delhi gave this information in a statement on Tuesday. However, this visa free travel will be for 15 days only, meaning tourists will be able to stay in Iran for 15 days without a visa. Know what tourists will have to do for this.

Iran has given the facility for Indian tourists to stay in Iran for 15 days without visa. However, there will be some conditions in this. For this, Indian tourists will have to travel by air travel. Only air passengers will get the benefit of this visa free facility. Due to its declining economy, Iran is providing such facilities as a measure to attract tourists and earn money from the tourism industry.

Know the reason behind visa free policy?

Due to not stopping the nuclear program, Western countries have imposed many types of sanctions on Iran. This is directly affecting his business. To support its economy in such a deteriorating situation, Iran had announced visa free tourism for 28 of its friendly countries including India in December 2023. After this, Iran’s Embassy in New Delhi approved this announcement in its latest statement.

Air traveling passengers will get this facility

In a statement issued by the Embassy of Iran in New Delhi, it was said that the facility of visa free policy will be available for Indian air passengers who will reach Iran by air. This facility is given only for sightseeing. Apart from this, rules and regulations have also been decided for how many days they can stay there. If a tourist wants to stay more than 15 days or wants to come to Iran more than once in 6 months, then he will have to take a second category visa.
