Islamabad Court has given a big decision on former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. In the case related to confidential documents, the court has given a big relief to Imran Khan and has shocked the government of Pakistan. In its decision, the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday declared as invalid the government’s official notification to hold the trial of the case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan in jail for allegedly leaking confidential documents. Imran Khan had taken refuge in the court in this matter.

Hearing the case, a two-member bench issued its decision on the appeal of the former Prime Minister. Imran Khan had challenged the decision of the single bench in this case. A single bench of the high court had earlier rejected the appeal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party chairman Imran Khan, 71, against the trial in Rawalpindi-based Adiala jail. Imran Khan is lodged in Adiala jail since 26 September. He has been transferred there from Attock District Jail. Earlier, a bench of Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz heard the appeal against the single bench order and reserved the verdict.
