Police said that guns, ammunition, two hand grenades and a motorcycle have been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists. In recent months, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other terrorist organizations have intensified attacks on security forces in Pakistan and terrorist activities by extremists and separatist groups have increased significantly.
Police intensified action against terrorists
Amidst these incidents, security forces and local police have also intensified action against terrorists. Nine people, including two soldiers, were killed and several others injured in four separate terrorist incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Wednesday. In another province, Balochistan, security forces also killed at least four terrorists in an encounter on Thursday and recovered a cache of pistols, grenades, explosive-laden motorcycles and other weapons during the operation.
