Pakistan Election News: General elections are to be held in Pakistan on 8 February. Ballot papers for this are printed and ready. The special thing is that you will be stunned to know that the election symbols given by the Election Commission are so strange. Many candidates have also expressed their objections regarding these election symbols. The world is keeping an eye on the elections to be held on February 8. In this election, Nawaz Sharif, who has been Prime Minister thrice, is in the race for the post of PM. Bilawal Bhutto, who was the Foreign Minister in the Shahbaz government, is also vying for the post of PM. Know what strange election symbols the Commission has issued for the elections.

In the general elections to be held on February 8, candidates have gone among the public with election symbols like mobile phone charger, SIM card, donkey cart, brinjal, shoes and so on. There are many election symbols which many candidates are embarrassed to have. In Pashto language, the word ‘Bottle’ is used for a foolish person and a candidate has got ‘Bottle’ election symbol.

The candidates made this allegation

Amir Mughal, a supporter of former PM Imran Khan, has got the brinjal election symbol. A candidate has got the ‘Bottle’ election symbol. Election symbols like shoe, wash basin, tongs, cage, nail cutter, mobile phone charger, SIM card, screw, spoon, tawa, shuttlecock, have also been given to the candidates. These candidates allege that the Election Commission has deliberately given them derogatory and strange election symbols. This controversy started after the election symbol of Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was cancelled. Last month itself, the election symbol of his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) bat was also snatched from him.

Now independent candidates are contesting from Imran’s party.

PTI candidates are now contesting the elections as independent candidates. Rich Mughals are unhappy with the brinjal election symbol, but now with only 1 day left for the elections, they have no option. Therefore, now he will have to contest the elections on this election symbol.

26 crore ballot papers printed for elections

Pakistan is ready for general elections on 8 February. With great difficulty the Election Commission had fixed the 8th of February. 26 crore ballot papers have been printed for voting in Pakistan. Its total weight is about 2100 tonnes. Whereas out of total 22 crore population, 12.69 crore voters will elect the new government.

Important contest between these parties to form government

Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto and Imran Khan, these three are the most important flag bearers in Pakistan. Among them, Imran Khan went to jail. Now Nawaz and Bilawal are left. In such a situation, Nawaz Sharif’s party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, former PM Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Bilawal Bhutto’s Pakistan People’s Party. There will be a contest between the candidates of these three parties.
