Rath Yatra will be held in America
Rath Yatra in America: Ever since Ram Lalla has been installed in Ayodhya in India, immense enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees of Lord Ram in America also. Even when Ram Lalla was seated in Ayodhya, a large car rally was taken out under the leadership of America-based Vishwa Hindu Parishad. In this sequence, now Ram Mandir Rath Yatra will be taken out on a large scale in America. This journey will start from Chicago on Monday. Rath Yatra will be held in 48 states which will reach 851 temples in 60 days. During this period the Rath Yatra will cover a distance of 8 thousand miles. The yatra will end in Sugar Grove, Illinois on April 23, the day of Shri Hanuman Jayanti. Organizers gave this information on Thursday.
In this regard, General Secretary of ‘Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America’ (VHPA), the organizing organization of the Rath Yatra, Amitabh Mittal said that the chariot built on top of a Toyota Sienna van contains the idols of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Laxman and Hanuman as well as Ram of Ayodhya. There will also be special prasad brought from the temple and the intact urn worshiped for the consecration of life. Mittal said that ‘the inauguration of Ram Temple has filled the hearts of more than 1.5 billion Hindus around the world with joy. It has also infused a new energy and confidence in them.
This Rath Yatra will start from Chicago on March 25.
This nationwide Rath Yatra will start from Chicago, USA on March 25 and will cover a distance of more than 8000 miles. This journey will visit 851 temples in America and about 150 temples in Canada. ‘Vishwa Hindu Parishad of Canada’ is organizing the Rath Yatra in Canada. Tejal Shah of ‘Hindu Temple Empowerment Council’ (HMEC), the apex organization of all the temples of America, said, ‘The purpose of this Rath Yatra is to increase awareness among people about Hindu religion, educate them and empower them.’

He said that the Yatra will provide an opportunity for all Hindus to unite and participate and will lead to the revival of Hindu ethos and religion. Mittal said many volunteers have registered with VHPA to help plan and organize the trip.
