Started yoga at the age of 3, Indian origin boy won gold at the age of 13

It is not just that India has dominance in Yoga in the whole world, but for this, many sages of the country have sacrificed their entire lives. Now every child of the country is taking this yoga tradition to the whole world. One such child of Indian origin has made India realize the talent by winning a gold medal in a yoga competition in Sweden at the age of just 13. Ishwar Sharma of Indian origin living in South East England has won another title by winning the gold medal in the ‘European Yoga Sports Championship’ held in Sweden.

Ishwar, who is a yoga genius, has already won many awards. Ishwar, who lives in Sevenoaks, Kent, started doing yoga at the age of 3. Ishwar saw his father doing yoga daily, after which he started practicing it and till now he has won many awards. Last weekend Ishwar won the ‘Europe Cup 2023’ in the 12-14 years category. The Europe Cup was organized by the International Yoga Sports Federation in collaboration with the ‘Swedish Yoga Sports Federation’ in Malmö.

Ishwar’s family told that the child is disabled

“Ishwar is very passionate about spreading the message of yoga, especially among children with special needs,” Ishwar’s family said in a statement. Ishwar suffers from autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Ishwar gave daily yoga classes to 40 children from 14 countries during the lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, due to which the then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson honored him with the ‘Points of Light’ award. “You taught yoga to hundreds of children globally during the lockdown,” Johnson had said in a letter to Sharma in June 2021. I was especially inspired to hear how you helped children with special needs enjoy and excel in yoga.”(Language)
