BAPS Hindu Temple, located near Al Rahba on Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway, has been built on about 27 acres of land and the construction work of this temple is going on since 2019. The land for this temple has been donated by the UAE government. There are three other Hindu temples in the UAE which are located in Dubai.

The architecture of the temple is very breathtaking

The stone architecture is very breathtaking. Spread over a large area with amazing architecture, the BAPS Temple will be the largest temple in the Gulf region. Prime Minister Modi will undertake a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates from Tuesday and during this he will inaugurate the huge temple on February 14. According to temple authorities, 40,000 cubic feet of marble has been used in the construction of the interior.

The Ministry of External Affairs said that the Prime Minister will also meet Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Defense Minister of the UAE. At his invitation, the Prime Minister will attend the World Government Summit 2024 to be held in Dubai as the guest of honor and deliver a special address at the summit, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. Modi will also inaugurate the BAPS Temple, the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, and address the Indian community in the UAE at an event at Zayed Sports City.

100 more students are painting on stones

This temple has been designed in a very modern style. According to reports, more than 100 Indian school students in the UAE are busy painting small stones which will be presented as souvenirs to the guests coming to attend the inauguration ceremony of the first Hindu temple in the capital Abu Dhabi. . Then we washed them, applied a coat of primer, polished them, and then painted them. Each stone has an inspirational line on one side and a painting of any part of the temple on the other side.” Reva Kariya (8), who was busy placing the stones in a ‘gift box’ this Sunday, said that she had considered the gift as a ‘miniature treasure’. Named because children are making them with their little hands.
