According to the latest information, it was a Russian private plane, which crashed in a remote rural area of ​​Afghanistan.

Officials said on Sunday that there were six people on board the plane. The aircraft was being operated as an ambulance flight from Gaya, India to Moscow via Tashkent. The accident occurred Saturday in a mountainous area near the Zebak district of Badakhshan province, regional spokesman Zabiullah Amiri said. He said that a rescue team has been dispatched to the accident site. The Badakhshan police chief’s office also confirmed the accident in a statement. In Moscow, Russian civil aviation officials said a Dassault Falcon 10 went missing.

Officials said there were four crew members and two passengers on board the plane. Russian officials said the plane was affiliated with Athletic Group LLC and a private individual. At the same time, according to a statement issued by Abdul Wahid Rayan, spokesman for the Taliban’s Ministry of Information and Culture, the plane belonged to a Moroccan company. Indian civil aviation officials also said that the plane was registered in Morocco. Ryan blamed the accident on engine failure.
