It is located 220 kilometers southeast of Kathmandu and about 500 kilometers east of Ayodhya. Former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal Bimalendra Nidhi said on Saturday, “Our daughter, Mata Janaki was married to Lord Shri Ram. We are very excited and proud that Ramlala will be consecrated in Ayodhya. When the Supreme Court of India gave its final verdict (in the Ayodhya case), the people of Janakpur were very happy. Therefore, preparations have been made for a grand event in Nepal also.
Maa Janaki temple is in Nepal
There is a famous Maa Janaki temple in Nepal. Also there are many temples related to Lord Shri Ram. Before the consecration in Ayodhya, Janaki temple and other pilgrimage sites associated with Lord Shri Ram are being decorated in a grand manner. Janaki temple is also known as Janakpur Dham. It is spread over an area of ​​4860 square feet. Preparations are also underway to bring out tableaux of Mahabali Hanuman along with Lord Shri Ram, Mata Janaki and Lakshman. Cleaning and decoration work is in full swing in all the temples.
